Katie has spent over 35 years in the care and disability sector and launched Moving On in 2011, having identified a gap in the market for caring and empathetic relocation services to support rapidly growing needs, particularly within the senior community.

With an absolute focus on clients and a full understanding of how stressful moving can be for them, Katie has built an amazing, like-minded team that is genuinely interested in and thoroughly enjoys what they do. Katie is widely respected as a pioneer and incredibly proud of the outstanding reputation she and Moving On have achieved throughout the industry.

Team Services Manager

A trained nurse, Suellen had a successful catering career in the UK, returning to NZ in 2002 and opening a café. It was here she met Katie, who enticed her to join Moving On in its first year.

As Team Services Manager, Suellen is responsible for Head Office Teams and ensuring that operational standards are maintained throughout the network. She has boundless energy, and her reassuring and understanding nature means she is adored by staff and clients alike.

Operations Manager

Joining in 2025, Gese brings to Moving On a diverse professional background including project co-ordination in the education sector and several years flying with Air New Zealand as an international flight attendant.

Gese is responsible for move scheduling, rostering, and both client & team liaison which utilises fully her strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Business Manager

David joined Moving On in 2024 with the task of strengthening operational systems, developing the national franchise network and building national client relationships.

Having spent more than 40 years in international corporate leadership, management consultancy and franchise operations, David brings a wealth of commercial and account management experience, which is invaluable as the business continues to expand geographically and grow our client base at pace.

Finance Manager

A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of financial management experience, Linda joined the team in early 2026. With a friendly, approachable style, Linda brings extensive experience in reporting and supporting growing businesses to make informed commercial decisions.

She is passionate about helping people and organisations understand and feel in control of their finances enjoys making financial information clear, practical and easy to understand.

Client Services Manager

If you call the Moving On 0800 number, you will be answered by Steph and immediately feel at ease and reassured that anything is possible, and everything will be totally in control.

For over 5 years, Steph has responded to all enquiries and answered personally any questions and concerns.

With over 40 years as an educator, mentor, and role model, her comforting, genuine manner, calm reassurance, attention to detail, and 24/7 availability are an enormous asset to Moving On.

Team Leader

Libby has been part of the Moving On team since 2023 and has been leading the team for the past 3 years.

With a background in delivering exceptional customer service in wide-ranging industries including recruitment, advertising, and international education, Libby’s calm persona and infectious enthusiasm are frequently commented on by clients.

Jacky’s team leadership journey with Moving On started in 2020, having previously worked in operations and logistics in the corporate sector.

Intuitive, highly organised, and with excellent attention to detail, Jacky is the perfect Team Leader and gets enormous reward from meeting people and helping reduce stress levels as they navigate their moves.

Moving Consultant

Ann has been strongly focused on customer support and service throughout her career. With 10 years at Air New Zealand working as cabin crew both internationally and domestically, and a further 15 years in customer-facing sales and marketing roles, Ann has the perfect skill set for being the first face-to-face contact with clients and helping them plan every aspect of their moves well in advance.

Team Leader

Sarah joined Moving On in 2023, having worked for the previous 20 years in not-for-profit children’s charities, including The Child Cancer Foundation as Business Services Manager.

Renowned for her warm and cheerful approach and always smiling, Sarah is hugely resourceful, never flustered, and has the unique ability to make every client feel important, cared for and at ease. 

Team Leader

Emma is a born Team Leader. Before joining Moving On, she studied interior design and worked in fashion and costuming for both film and television.

A natural problem solver, Emma is a self-professed perfectionist with a real eye for detail.

She likes nothing more than working with her team and clients to achieve not only a stress-free move, but a new home that looks exactly as desired, with everything in its place.
